Niceville Community Center

8:00am – 3:30pm

Join us for a one-day educational and energizing conference to help women achieve balance and success in life, work, and health. Our agenda includes several dynamic presentations and interactive sessions with local physicians and medical professionals from our communities, as well as keynote speaker Melanie Carvell.

Carvell is a retired physical therapist from Bismarck, North Dakota. She is a captivating motivational speaker, tireless community volunteer, a certified Worksite Wellness Consultant, and author of Running with the Antelope: Life, Fitness, and Grit on the Northern Plains. Melanie is an accomplished triathlete who is a six-time All American, representing USA Triathlon on eight World Championship teams, and winning a bronze medal in Germany in 1999. She has trained at the U.S. Olympic Training Center and received the "Picture of Health" award from the State of North Dakota for being a leader in women's health. Raised in a small town in western North Dakota, she is one of North Dakota's most cosmopolitan citizens at the same time that she remains devoted to the small town values that shaped her entire life. Melanie's interactive presentation will inspire you to take charge of your health, reintegrating your body and spirit along the way to a happier, healthier life. With her humble and engaging style she'll deliver useful information with a big dose of inspiration for all of us to be more active throughout our day.
