Kelly Light, RN, BSN

Kelly works at Twin Cities Hospital as the volunteer coordinator and H2U director, a health and wellness program empowering adults to manage their health and live life to the fullest. Kelly provides educational seminars in a variety of locations throughout the community with a focus on disease prevention, recognition, and treatment options.

Kelly grew up in New Jersey 45 minutes outside of New York City. A family of nurses as well as an interest in science led her to pursue a career in nursing. Kelly graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Rutgers University. Kelly has worked for almost 20 years in a variety of healthcare settings from small outreach clinics in rural Alabama to level 1 trauma centers in New York. Her primary focus has been in cardiology in clinical settings, heart catheterization lab, and open heart ICU.

As an educator she has worked as an Adjunct Professor in the nursing program at Northwest Florida State College as well as teaching classes to hospital employees. In 2002 Kelly married her husband Ed and moved to Fort Walton Beach. They have 3 children James 12, Jackson 10, and Kate 5.
